Gergely Pálos is a Budapest-born, Stockholm-based cinematographer working in international festival cinema and commercials.
He stepped in as lead cinematographer on Roy Andersson's A Pigeon Sat on a Branch Reflecting on Existence, which won the Golden Lion at Venice and continued their collaboration on About Endlessness (Silver Lion, Venice 2019).
His most recent feature, Silent Friend (dir. Ildikó Enyedi), premiered in Main Competition at Venice 2025, earning the FIPRESCI Prize and the Silver Hugo for Best Cinematography in Chicago.
